Xi"an Free Trade Port Construction and Operation Limited Company is spearheading the operation of international rail services connecting Xi"an to five Central Asian nations, Russia, and Belarus, contributing significantly to the establishment of a thriving international logistics corridor. In 2022, the company orchestrated a total of 38,333 trips for the China-Europe Railway Express.

Yuan Xiaojun, the General Manager of Xi"an Free Trade Port Construction and Operation Limited Company, stands as a pivotal figure in the development of the China-Europe Railway Express route, having played an integral role in its growth through years of hands-on experience. This journey has borne witness to the progressive expansion of train operations and the evolving nature of transported goods.

"In 2013, we initiated the Chang"an China-Europe China-Europe Railway Express, with the inaugural run heading to Almaty in Kazakhstan. Back then, our exports primarily consisted of items such as plastic films, brick-making machinery, colored steel tiles, and equipment and materials integral to related production processes. Today, our exports to Central Asia predominantly encompass products like new energy vehicles, solar photovoltaic panels, air conditioners, smart home appliances, and the like," Yuan Xiaojun affirmed. This evolution underscores two important facets: first, the appeal of China"s burgeoning array of electronic consumer products and the trust Central Asian countries and populations place in Chinese-made automobiles; second, it underscores the rapid economic advancement of the Central Asian region. This symbiotic relationship between its progress and China"s productive capabilities and manufacturing prowess fosters a mutually beneficial interaction that thrives on positive dynamics.

中国出口中亚产品“技术含量”不断提升

西安自贸港建设运营有限公司总经理袁小军是西安中欧班列的参与者和建设者,多年的一线经历,见证了中欧班列开行数量的不断提高和运输货物的升级变迁。近日,他接受了羊城晚报记者的专访。

“2013年我们开始组织中欧班列长安号的开行,首列是开往哈萨克斯坦阿拉木图的。当年我们出口的货物主要有塑料薄膜、制砖机以及彩钢瓦等一些相关的生产制造设备,到了今天,我们出口中亚的货物主要是新能源汽车、太阳能光伏板、空调、智能家电等这类货物。”袁小军表示,这个变迁足以说明,一方面中亚地区的国家和人民对于中国新的电子消费类产品的喜爱,对于中国制造汽车的信赖;另一方面也说明了中亚地区的经济在快速发展,它的这种发展和中国的产能以及中国制造能够形成非常好的良性互动。
